Keeping cool in the school hall this week at EFSC

We spend all year waiting for good weather and now, when it comes, it is too hot to be outside!. We made the best of the sweltering weather by staying cool in the school hall playing some of the more leisurely sports. After a "warm" up that was more walking than jogging, but did include some stretching, we started off with some Parachute games led by Ray.

Then we did some golf putting, firstly trying to get as many shots in the hoops as possible, then a game where you collect cones that you hit. Finally it was a challenge game where you tried to get your ball to stop nearest to the bench at the far end of the hall.

After the break we did some Archery with the group splitting in to two teams.

Finally we ended up with a few games of leisurely Boccia with two teams facing off against each other from either end of the hall.

It was a lovely session and we all managed to survive the heat without melting.
