Last week's session was all the B's - Basketball, Benchball and Boccia. This week our main sport was Hockey. Alan was absent so Ollie led the session with assistance from Cliff. We started with a warm up led this week by Kerrie before getting in to some Hockey skills practice. This included individual dribbling with a ball, traffic lights game, dribbling around cones, then shooting at the end of the dribble. Lastly we did passing in pairs across the school hall working on speed and accuracy of passing. You may spot in the photos below that the Traffic light game was led by Hal! After the break we put all that skills practice to use in some small sided games. The first game was won by the yellow team by 4 goals to 2 against the green team. Next up was the blue team to take on the yellow team. In this match the blue team were victorious in a close game but a massive score of 6 goals to 5. The last game saw the blue team take on the green team. It ended up 4 to 2 goals for the green team meaning each team won one game each. We finished off the session with a couple of quick games of Boccia. Our star performers this week were Kealan and Theo who both excelled in the Hockey - well done boys! See you again next week for more fun and games. Comments are closed.
