Sported and Sport England

The team at Sported have supported us for many years. Firstly, in a bid for funds from Sport England as part of a fund to help get Sports clubs up and running again after the Covid Lockdowns. More recently they helped us get some funding from the Post Code Lottery as part of a funding round they were doing.

The Big Lottery Fund
|
The Big Lottery Fund have kindly awarded EFSC over £1,500 towards a six month project to boost membership and attendance this academic year (2015/2016). This is a fantastic award and will help spread the word about the club and enable us to grow.

Essex Community Foundation

In 2014, EFSC gratefully received funding from Essex Community Foundation. This comprises £3000 from the Essex Millenium Fund and £1600 from the Essex and Southend Sports Charitable Fund.

Bancroft's Preparatory School
|
Our thanks to Bancroft's Preparatory School who raised an amazing £3,500 for Epping Forest Sportability Club as part of a charity day they held in Summer term 2015. Special thanks to Max, brother of Theo (one of our members) who nominated us and did so much for us on the day. Then again in 2016 when they raised another amazing amount for us.

Comic Relief

In 2013, EFSC received £4600 from Comic Relief (through the Essex Community Foundation), which enabled us to run our weekly sessions.
