Joseph had a wonderful time at his first ever week at Epping Forest Sportability Club. Along with other 'Newbies' Obed and Theo they all had a great time playing Sitting Volleyball and Indoor Tennis games. Next week we will hopefully play Boccia and Indoor Curling.
We were pleased to see a couple of new faces this week. We hope to see both Nathan and Theo back next week and regularly there after! Activities this week were Indoor Athletics including an Obstacle Course, Standing jump and hurdles. After a short break we played Target Boccia and Velco Handball (seen below) Next week - INDOOR TENNIS and other fun!
We had a fantastic first week back after Christmas playing Basketball and Hockey. The new three hour session worked really well and we now have a new "Star of the Week" award. It is judged by the coaches and is for the member who has shown great effort, skill or determination during the session. The inaugural winner was Lesley - well done!
Next week we plan to do Indoor Athletics so please come along to see what we have in store. Our Head Coach took part in a 10k sponsored run near Cambridge in the Autumn of 2014 and has raised a grand total of £160 for the Epping Forest Sportability Club. Well done and many thanks to Alan!
