On one of the hottest days of the year so far we had a really good session and made the most of the weather. We started outside on the field playing a series of games based around handling a rugby ball. The children worked in pairs, along with the coaches, and made some really good progress. This was followed by a series of wonderfully titled games such as Scarecrow Tag, Stuck in the Mud and Jail Break (I am assured that no crimes were committed during the playing of this game!). After a break we came inside in to the school hall to escape the heat. We played some great games of benchball which is a great team game that requires good catching, throwing, agility and team work skills. Our star of the week was Jenny who worked really hard throughout the day and took part really well. Well done Jenny! Comments are closed.
