For our first sunny Saturday for a long time it was great to be outside on the playground for our session. Football was the main sport we played, and after a warm up led by Ray, it was straight in to some skills practice. We started with some ball dribbling then Jorys led a traffic light game - dribble with the ball on green, move the ball side to side on yellow and stop on red. Alan then laid out some cones for the kids to dribble around including doing a figure of eight. After a quick drinks break it was on to some shooting practice with the kids moving up the playground, around the cones, before stopping and shooting. After the main break the kids put all the practice to good use in some small sided games. Unfortunately, I had to leave early so no photos from the matches but Alan did send through a photo of our star performers for the week - Liam and Pranav. Well done lads!
Next week club will be on despite the Coronation of King Charles so if you have said that you are going to attend please ensure that you do so that there are enough kids to make the session worthwile. Many Thanks Comments are closed.
