We had quite a low turnout this week, our last session of the half term, but it was enjoyable none the less. Ray and Ollie were both back and Ray led the warm up at the start of the session. We then played some hockey in the hall starting with ball control practice, a traffic light game and the dribbling around cones before passing to the next person to take their turn. Ray then added some shooting practice in to the dribbling routine so that once they had dribbled around the cones going up the hall they stopped and shot at a "goal" marked out on a bench. Having had a shot at goal they collected and dribbled the ball back before passing to the next player. After a quick break for drinks, we then played a game of Hockey with the kids splitting in to two teams helped by the coaches. Sometimes it was a struggle to get the kids to remember which way they were shooting and there were quite a few own goals, but the eventual score was 10-9 to the team not in bibs. After the main break we switched sports to play some Archery. After some practice shooting, we played a game of Bake-a-Cake where each section of the'target was an ingredient needed to make a cake. However, if you hit a 7 then you burnt the cake! Finally, we played a team scoring game where each player had a turn and the scores were totted up to see which team won. Pranav's team won by 3 games to 1 with one tied game.
We hope you all have a great half term break and look forward to seeing you all back on Saturday 5th November Comments are closed.
