Hockey and Handball this week at EFSC
We had a record week in terms of attendance which was great to see and the main sport this week was Hockey. We started out as usual with some drills aimed at improving the basic skills in the sport. For hockey this meant controlling the ball with the hockey stick, dribbling with the ball and then shooting. Using those skills we then moved on to some one vs. one games and then finally onto to some three on three bench hockey. This meant the group was divided in to two teams but each game involved just three members from each team and at the end of each game the three players would go to the end of the bench meaning everyone else moved along and so all players rotated and got a go.
At the end of the session Ray and the other coaches decided that the Star of the Week for their enthusiasm and participation was Shevin's sister. Very well done and this is the first time the award has been given to someone's brother or sister!
