The main part of this week's session was dedicated to hockey. Unfortunately there are not too many photos this week as the parents, carers and staff were busy with the Annual General Meeting but the children were kept busy and they all had a great time. Ray led the session with the assistance of Georgia, Sophie and Ciara. They started with warm up games including one called Cups and Saucers that included running and teamwork. Once warmed up it was on to Hockey starting with some practice drills to improve stick skills and ball control. Then it was on to some one vs. one games before finishing off with team games / matches. The last sport played was a game of benchball which is a great team work game involving throwing and catching, with a small amount of running too. The coaches decided that Thomas was the Star of the Week for his enthusiasm and effort - well done Thomas! As for the AGM, many thanks to those parents and carers that took the time to attend. Your input was much appreciated and very valuable. I hope you all agree that it was very productive.
