We wrapped up the Autumn Term at Epping Forest Sportability Club with a lovely relaxed session enjoying a variety of sports before tucking in to some lovely food and drink whilst listening to some of the latest music! The coaches had set up the hall with a variety of sports so that the kids could choose whatever they wanted to do at any point whilst the radio was on in the background. We had table football (fusball), basketball shooting, skittles, badminton and Boccia. For a change there was no skills practice or instruction from the coaches - just having fun, playing games and messing around. As you can see in one of the photos above, Kerrie was late to the session as she had been at her Karate school receiving an award. The previous night she had her main black belt exam and passed with flying colours taking on a number of opponents. She won the award at her club for student of the year. A very well done Kerrie - we are all very proud of you!
Later in the morning we laid on some party food and drinks before wrapping off the session by giving out some little Christmas party bags. From all the staff at Sportability Club we thank all the members for coming throughout the year. Also, to all the parents and carers for their support and help and to Oak View School for allowing us to use their lovely premises every week. We wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you all back in a few weeks time on Saturday 6th January 2018 for the start of another term of fun and activities!
